Enjoy
the comraderie of camping with fellow motorcyclists at one of the finest
motorcycle only campgrounds in North Carolina. High Country Motorcycle
Camp is located about 20 twisty miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost
276. After exiting from the Parkway, turn right and ride about 9 miles
east on US 421 E until you reach Lewis Fork Church Rd. Turn right, ride
to Mt. Zion Road. Turn right, ride about 6 miles. The Campground will
be on the left. If you are coming from Wilkesboro, ride west on US 421
about 7 miles until you reach Champion/Mt. Pleasant road. Turn left, ride
about 4 miles to Mt. Zion Road. Turn right, the campground will be about
6 miles on the left. See Map |

Country Motorcycle Camp has fourteen beautiful mountain acres devoted
to local and touring motorcyclists. Our location is just off the Blue
Ridge Parkway near Ferguson, North Carolina. We have camp sites under
trees, next to a babbling creek or in a high quiet meadow. |

Our
facilities include a clean, well kept bath house, washer, dryer, bunk
house (Sleeping 12), picnic tables, fire rings with grills and firewood. |

We
encourage Groups and Rallies. Catering is available andour covered pavilion
has seating for 200. We are located near stores and restaurants. The chalets
are presently under renovation and should be ready soon. |

Country Motorcycle Camp is situated among the best amusement park ever
of twisty, S-curving back roads. We offer the visitor panoramic mountain
views and an opportunity to experience the authentic mountain culture
of nearby Blowing Rock and Boone in the heart of mountainous western North
Carolina. For motorcycle riders looking for even more adventure, a beautiful 90 mile ride to Asheville, North Carolina leads riders to the doorway of the Great Smokey Mountains. Here you will be able to ride to the top of Mount Mitchell, the highest mountain peak east of the Rocky Mountains at 6684 feet high. While in the area, check out the world famous Route 129 through Deals Gap. Also called the dragon, this paved strip of blacktop is visited by motorcycle riders from throughout the world just to experience its 318 turns in only 11 miles of scenic wonderland. |
